My name is Chris Cade, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. My passion for mental health started at an early age with my own healing journey. When I was a child, my parents took me into therapy, and it was the start to one of the most impactful experiences in my life. The experience I had in therapy is something that I am beyond grateful for as it helped me learn to grow in many ways while providing me tools to manage my own trauma later in life. I believe therapy has helped me both on a personal level, and in my role as a clinician in countless ways. I have been fortunate to work in various settings ranging from inpatient, outpatient, homeless outreach, and groups. This has helped me recognize that everyone has their own self-growth journey relative to their own unique background and experiences. My journey has continuously added to my passion for therapy and exploring each person's story and gaining an authentic connection with others to help best support people in their journey.

About Me
My Mission
My goal is to tailor our sessions to your unique needs, working collaboratively to foster insight and promote positive change and self-growth. Whether you're struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply seeking personal growth, we will work together to develop strategies to effectively reach your goals. Our therapeutic relationship is built on trust, empathy, and non-judgment, providing you with a nurturing environment to explore your thoughts and emotions openly. I believe cultivating an authentic connection and empowering individuals within a cultural context are essential foundations of a strong therapeutic relationship.
My approach
I utilize evidence and strength-based theories, such as DBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy to help you identify goals, enhance self-efficacy, and make more meaningful connections in life. Approaching every person with a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens is very important to me as I believe there is no "one-size-fits-all" treatment. I am holistic in my approaches to therapy to incorporate the various life factors around us that affect our mental health. Whether it be anxiety, self-esteem issues, men's issues, body image issues, depression, PTSD, neurodivergence, addiction, relationship issues, OCD, we will work together to figure out effective ways to work towards your goals! I am grateful to be a part of anybody's healing journey, so please contact me whenever you are ready.
